The snow has melted and it's racing season again! I had a good long rest this winter and my body feels good but maybe just a bit out of shape.

I am riding a KONA Hei Hei 29 this year and so far the bike is feeling great. As a KONA grassroots racer I will be sending in results and stories to the Kona Cog blog site so stay posted and check out my stories. Shimano has hooked me up with a XTR drive train, brakes and a PRO handle bar, stem, seat and seat post. My job with Shimano is to spread the good word about my Shimano gear, give feed back and win races.  As always big thanks to NRG Enterprises for Maxxis tires, Hope and Chromag parts to keep me rolling.

I am heading back to the Trans Rockies this summer and am looking forward to another great race. I haven't registered just yet, but I am signing up for the 24 hours of adrenalin World championships in September. My summer will be full of several other events like Nimby 50, Organ Grinder, Test of Metal, Kaslo Suffer fest and a few more. Unfortunately I missed the Salty Dog this year due to a visit from my grandparents, but I look forward to a great summer of ripping up single track with my fellow racers.

  1. Good luck for a great season, Travis. Sorry to miss you in CR, but maybe we will see you at Baldface in Feb!
